A readable surface demo based on the Phase 10 research result. This mock app scans a visible fragment of a Turing-pattern-like surface, recovers a short ID, and opens metadata.

What this demo shows

It uses the Phase 10 idea: a short 4-bit ID, encoded as Hamming(7,4), repeated across 3×2 local tiles.
A crop does not need the full surface. The scanner only uses the visible local pair regions inside the crop.
The output is not long text. It is a short ID → metadata lookup, which is more realistic for clothing, car surfaces, packaging, and artificial organisms.
